Version 1.0 — September 2026

Seller Code of Conduct

Every approved seller signs this before their store opens. It is the standard we enforce, and it is the reason buyers bid here with confidence.

1. Authenticity is absolute

  • No counterfeits, replicas, or "homage" watches sold or implied as genuine. No franken-watches described as original.
  • Every aftermarket or replacement part — dial, bezel, hands, crystal, bracelet, movement components — must be disclosed in the listing and stated on stream.
  • If you are not certain a watch is genuine and correct, do not put it on the block.

2. Honest condition grading

  • Photos must show the actual watch, taken recently, unedited beyond cropping and lighting.
  • Disclose scratches, dings, polishing, refinished dials, water-resistance status, and any non-original box or papers.
  • Service history: state what was done, by whom, and when — or state plainly that it is unknown.

3. Accurate representation on stream

  • No claims about value, rarity, appraisal, or investment return that you cannot back up.
  • Do not describe a watch as "unpolished," "NOS," "full set," or "serviced" unless it is true.

4. Sale terms must be stated up front

  • You choose the terms per lot: a stated return window, or sold as-is with no returns.
  • An as-is lot is still subject to the authenticity and disclosure rules above. As-is covers condition and wear you disclosed — it never covers a counterfeit, a misrepresented reference, or an undisclosed replacement part.
  • As-is must be visible on the lot and called out on stream before the lot opens. Terms cannot change after bidding starts.

5. Bidding integrity

  • No shill bidding. Do not bid on your own lots, and do not have friends, family, or staff bid to lift a price.
  • No fabricated "sold" prices. Reserves are set in the system, not implied verbally.

6. Honor the hammer

  • The winning bid is a binding sale. You may not refuse to ship because the price came in low, and you may not re-list a sold lot.

7. Fulfillment

  • Ship within 3 business days of cleared payment, insured and tracked, packaged appropriately for a high-value item.
  • Enter tracking in the app so the buyer and WSIQ Bids can see it.

8. Returns and disputes

  • Items materially not as described are returnable regardless of as-is status.
  • Cooperate promptly and in good faith with WSIQ Bids dispute review, and abide by the outcome.

9. Conduct on stream and in chat

  • No harassment, hate speech, adult content, intoxicated hosting, or high-pressure tactics.
  • Streams may be recorded and reviewed.

10. No off-platform diversion

  • Do not direct buyers to pay or complete a sale elsewhere, before, during, or after a show.

11. Legal

  • You own or are authorized to sell every item you list. No stolen goods.
  • Comply with sanctions, import/export, and consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction. No prohibited or cash-equivalent items.

12. Enforcement

  • Warning → lot removal → stream suspension → payout hold → permanent ban with forfeiture of fees.
  • Counterfeit sales, shill bidding, and failure to ship a hammered lot are immediate-ban offenses.
